I started wih X2 Hot 19-degree, R-Flex hybrid (easy to hit D0 swing-weight) and added 22, 25, and 28-degree, R-Flex hybrids. I was shocked to see my ball traveling straight and in desired direction on holes immediately after putting 19-degree in play. I find it easy to draw slightly/hook sharply and fade/slice on tree-lined dogleg fairways. The 28-degree worked much better than expected as a open-faced-grip lob-hybrid over a tree (45-degree up slice to green at 118 yds) last tournament. I am still learning not to hook the 22-degree (probably my grip and head's vertical lie appearance at address -- only on this club), but hit straight approach shot on no.1 green yesterday that was straight and too long with 192 yd roll-out. I've been searching for a 22-24 degree that I could hit longer than 144 yds consistently for several years. The appearance (to me) that the toe end half of the clubhead is larger has inspired confidence that allows me to reduce tension during swing and increase distance. Previous hybrids: Titliest 910 (Kali & Bassura shafts), King Cobra, and Callaway FT (06) ... still own them (for time being). Traded XHot Pro 19 and 22-degree (flatter lie, but too heavy swing-weight to hit consistently--lost confidence equal bad results).

I recently traded-in all of my X-Hot wedges, irons, hybrids, and fairway woods for X2 Hot clubs. In retrospect, I wish I had kept the X Hots. These hybrids are OK at best, but definitely not an improvement over the X Hots. They are long, but compared to the X Hots, are not nearly as forgiving, accurate, or consistent. They seem to want to go left. Not sure if it's my swing flaws, that they have a closed "draw" face, or it's the lighter shaft. Whatever, they don't work as well for me as the X Hots did. If you have X Hots now, save your money and keep them. If you are looking for Callaway hybrids, skip the X2 Hots and go with either the X Hots, or when they become more readily available and the price drops, check out the Big Berthas. Either way, get fitted first.

Comments about Callaway Mens X2 Hot Hybrid:

Found product ratings accurate. If they say used its been used like new is just that. In other words what Callaway tells about the club is what you get at a great price. Purchased four hybrids to date On to the wedges!

Pleased with the purchase. Club was as described, priced reasonable. Not a whole lot of inventory to choose from - have to keep checking inventory to work on a set of clubs.

Ordered 4 and 3 hybrid with stiff shafts. service was great as clubs arrived in 3 days and weren't "like new" they were new...Still had stickers and wrap...never been hit. I am fifteen yds longer than my Burner hybrids I replaced. 4 hybrid is 185/190 3 hybrid is 210/215. Makes long par 3 s and 4s much easier now! Highly recommend!

Comments about Callaway Mens X2 Hot Hybrid:

I bought this club because of the great reviews. I cannot believe how many people lie or I just am a terrible player. I purchased a new set of irons as well from here and I hit concistently with them. I feel that the hybrid is to long and a flexes a lot. I did purchase a stiff shaft. I cannot get a good position with them also the head is designed to be hit exact. For every 10 shots I get one good shot. I can hit pass 200 yards if hit perfectly. I gave up on this club. My status is usually 15 over, 35 years old ,5'10", 175, athleticism I can bench 400 pounds and squat 480. with my P iron I hit about 125.
