The distance standard in irons was set in 2013 with the X HOT Iron. The new high water mark is now owned by X2 HOT. Totally new, innovative technology. Same domination in the hitting bays, on the range, and on the course
  • Massive undercut channel increases the rate at which the face flexes and rebounds for more ball speed and distance making these 3-5 yards longer than X Hot
  • Reinforces the face creating exceptional sound and feel at high ballspeeds
  • Produces higher launch angles for more distance and stopping power on the greens

LIGHTWEIGHT SHAFT OPTIONS
Lightweight Speed Step 85 ? Steel shaft available in regular and stiff flexes. New lightweight graphite shaft ? more feel and control while increasing launch angles.

DEEP CENTRAL UNDERCUT
This New Deep Central Undercut increases the rate the face flexes and rebounds, increasing ball speeds.

STABILIZING ARCH
Exceptional sound and feel at high ball speeds come from a stabilizing arch that reinforces the face.

PERIMETER WEIGHTING
If you like higher launch angles, more distance, stopping power on the greens and a bigger sweet spot, we developed the perimeter weighting with you in mind

Received my irons on first release date and just had to play them even in the snow and ice in Colorado. Couldn't put a tee in the ground so used either w/o a tee or used a small pile of snow. Well I am going to have to reevaluate all my club distances. First swing of pitching wedge I got 20 more yards and then a tap in bird due to the distance I received w the X2 Hot irons.. Looking forward to playing more soon summer and dailing these in for a great year.

A long-time buyer, player, and tester of Callaway clubs, I have worked with the legal department to help catch fraudsters, and with Mr. Cleveland in working with the axis of rotation on the S2H2 wedges. I think the size and appearance of the X2 Hot irons is more mid-sized than over-sized, and the thinner topline, sole, and smaller offset might appeal to the better golfer. But the clanky feel of the True Temper lightweight shafts just disrupt the timing and psyche of the player - anything less than a perfect strike vibrates the joints and produces unattractive ball flight. Because of my fast swing tempo, the clubs were fitted correctly for shaft flex, bendpoint, length, torque, and even the most advantageous grip. The things are just too difficult to hit purely! So I pulled the stock shafts and went with almost identical specs in another company's product, and the subsequent results were amazing! Even though the "experts" would say the clubs should perform identically, I can ascertain the difference in location of the clubhead throughout my swing with my eyes closed with the improved shafts. I have confidence as I address the ball, and a tremendously satisfying swoosh through the ball. I am gaming the complete set, including the high-bounce wedges (much appreciated, Roger!). I guess my set is now CallaStaff or Wilsonaway brand. Straight azimuth, moderate trajectory, good distance, adequate backspin. Great clubheads, great grips, but terrible marriage of the shafts with both.

I played with the clubs one time, and did not like them, so I returned them and bought a set of the XR Irons, and I really like them.

Comments about Callaway Mens X2 Hot Irons 4-PW- w/Steel Shafts:

I've had my set of callaway x2 hot irons for 2 years and I can say that in only my 3rd year of golfing total, these irons have drastically improved my game from a high handicap player to a mid almost single digits. I feel confident when setting up to the ball, knowing that I'm going to get immense height and maximum distance, whether im hitting out of the rough, fair way, fw bunkers and so on, with accuracy as well. I couldn't be happier and look forward to constantly work on improving my game into a scratch golfer, like my grandfather was. I love this game more than anything and Callaway has been more than fantastic to me not only with the excellent products they produce but the superb customer service I have ever received from anyone and I'm greatful to be a customer. Thank you.

I'm about 20 Handicapped Hacker. Was playing 'look-a-like' X20's prior to getting these X2 Hot's. Distance per club has in creased about 10 yards+. Feel and direction are very similar so didn't change my game a whole lot yet.

Comments about Callaway Mens X2 Hot Irons 4-PW- w/Steel Shafts:

The X-2 Hot irons are a very solid club, even on mis-hits. They do play longer per club, but I think that's just because the lofts have been juiced. The only thing that I dislike about these irons are they are made of highly polished stainless steel which is hard keep from scratching. You have to use club covers to keep them looking their best. Wish Callaway used the same matte finish my old Ping Zing 2's have, and remove the medallions on the back and replace them with just the casting on the backs. I would rather have the irons uncovered, but they get too scratched up.

Hitting the golf ball with these X2 Hot Irons. Which the ball traveled farther distance than I expected. I am very excited to play next time out golfing. The irons are more forgiveness and the ball goes closer to the green. These irons are the real Callaway products that you buy online. You receive the actual products that they advertise in magazines or online. The irons are perfect for all types of golfers who enjoy playing golf. These irons will improve my golfing scores.

I found these irons lighter than my other Callaways but easier to swing. Found extra distance even with toed shots. Had to adjust in my stance to get to sweet spot but finding an improvement. Catch them on the sweet spot and they go. I like these clubs.

Comments about Callaway Mens X2 Hot Irons 4-PW- w/Steel Shafts:

As a beginner these were my second set of irons. I traded a fat sole GI iron and traded them for these. These irons are thin and help my confidence at address. The face is extremely hot and the ball screams when struck well. The forgiveness is great and the feel is good too but won't get much better in this category of clubs. i have let all my friends hit them and they like them as well. I get pretty high ball flight with regular shafts but could lower it with stiff shaft if needed. My longest is a 4i and the dispersion is larger than I would like due to shaft flex.
