Comments about Wilson Staff D-100 Irons 4-AW Graphite Shaft:

I was in a demo program and tried about 15 different iron sets. I resisted buying these, cause the target audience is apparently handicaps from 15-22 or so and I'm lower than that. I also was hoping I would end up with something that sounded "cooler" than Wilson - (Cobra, Ping, Mizuno, etc.) I kept coming back to these, however, cause they were so doggone straight and solid-feeling. Have now had them for 2 months and couldn't be happier. Also cheaper than the sexier brands... :-)

Comments about Wilson Staff D-100 Irons 4-AW Graphite Shaft:

Rapidly approaching 60 years old and my wrists and arms were feeling really fatigued after a round. Graphite was recommended as a possible solution even though my swing speed support staying with metal. I have never hit hybrids well, so having a beefy 4-iron appealed to me, as well. PGA Superstore had these clubs on sale and with my 15% discount card, I had nothing to lose! WOW - after two rounds and a couple trips to the range, I am hitting the ball farther and significantly higher. Huge sweet spot increasing my confidence and actually swinging smoother (graphite?). My arms and wrists feeling relief so I can easily lift my glass on the 19th. I highly recommend these irons. Working for me!

Comments about Wilson Staff D-100 Irons 4-AW Graphite Shaft:

My son needed new clubs. He is 12 and shoots about 98 at 5600 yards. He had outgrown the US Kids and wanted something that didn't feel quite as "dead." We tried all the adult clubs in a senior flex etc and he hit them well, but when we tried these clubs his swing speed was 10% higher and he loved the feel. They are a lighter club overall with a huge sweet spot. The graphite shafts are not very stiff and we purchased the standard mens shaft (rather than senior) and they are barely stiff enough. He loves them and we would recommend to anyone. I must say, I'm a little bit of a snob and was originally looking at ping, etc, but these clubs are outstanding. They aren't cheap, but for young men that can't handle the total club weight of other sets these are outstanding. I would definitely recommend trying them and measuring swing speed when comparing them to other sets.
