The MP-4 is the purest of forged muscle backs for shot-makers seeking the ultimate control over their ball flight. A longer, softer sense of impact results from Mizuno's patented Grain Flow Forging process and bulging muscle design that extends higher up on the clubface. The muscle bulge is most prominent in the scoring irons and reduces down through to the slender long irons - where design emphasis is placed on creating a quick launch and steeper landing angle to knock down flags.
  • Pure Muscle Design: Bulging muscle ensures thickness behind impact for solid feel.
  • Shoemake's profile: Thin top line & reduced offset helps manipulate ball flight.
  • Variable Muscle Bulge: More bulge in the short irons for trajectory control.
  • New profile 8-PW: More compact than previous MP irons.
  • Grain Flow Forged: From a single 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel billet for enhanced feel.

Comments about Mizuno MP-4 3-PW Iron Set with Steel Shaft:

I used MP29 for years, was searching a new set of blades, until the MP4 showed up. Thought it will perform similar to MP29, but I was wrong, MP4 is easier to hit, and have a higher ball flight. I always had problems with Mizuno blades chrome peeling off the head. after 2 months with the MP4, started to see bubbles on the 8 iron club head. Mizuno replaced immediately. Overall fantastic club, with even better feel and looks!

The best of all I've ever played

Comments about Mizuno MP-4 3-PW Iron Set with Steel Shaft:

I can't think of any other time more important to be fitted than with blade irons. If you picked this club up at any point and thought you couldn't hit it, you're wrong. You just need to get your strike right in the center of the club face. The easiest way to do this is to get them fitted for you. After a proper fitting and adjustment, I now hit these irons farther than any other set I've ever played. I got them 1 inch longer and 3 upright, now I kill them - 225 yard 5 iron long. But I don't have to kill them to still get accurate shorter distances from the same iron! If you enjoy hitting wedges, imagine having a full set of irons that play/feel like a wedge. Precise distances, amazing spin, buttery feeling, all the different shots from each iron, you can hit anything with these and it feels effortless. I had tour wraps put on and they are so comfy it's unbelievable. My only complaint is I had to pull the 3 iron out the bag. Even adjusted it's just crazy small and hybrids are too nice not to use.

Comments about Mizuno MP-4 3-PW Iron Set with Steel Shaft:

I'm glad to do the first review on these. I live in the Chicagoland area. I'm about a 20 handy cap. I wanted to move on from my fat "game improvement" irons and try out a more sleek style club.

I researched over 10 different but similar clubs. Half cavity to the full blade. Mizuno, Nike, Callaway and Taylormade. I hit them all before buying and the MP4's. To be honest these clubs were not even on my list but they hit sooooooo smooth compared to the rest that I fell in love. They are amazing and a must try. BTW, I liked the waaayyyy over the MP69's. The MP4's punch the ball off the turf better.

Just a buttery club I'd suggest them to anyone who is a -5 to 20 handy cap. LOVE!
