I hit this club at Edwin Watts and have never hit a club so well in my life. I was hitting the 20-degree/Stiff "Pro" hybrid almost 25-30 yards longer than my other hybrid.....and this is no exaggeration. I thought I was hitting it so well because I was hitting off the matt in the store. Well, I hit it just as well on the course, often reaching 225-235 yards......and straight down the middle. I am a 9 handicap player so I'm sure more talented players will hit the ball even further with this club. Seriously, this club is just phenomenal. I decided to get the 23-degree X Hot Pro because the 20-degree hits the ball too far for my needs. The 23-degree hits exactly like the 20-degree hybrid, not as far but every bit as straight. You won't go wrong with this club.

I have used Callaway products for 15 years, back to the days of Great Big Bertha. I have tried other high quality brands but I come back to Callaway. Recently upgraded to the Razr fit extreme driver and fairway wood ( could not wait until Feb for the Bertha). I also bought 2 XHot Pro hybrids. Played in a tournament after 2 days of practicing with them. They felt great and did not require a breaking in period. Returning the hybrids, they scuffed easy after one range session. Used the old hybrids with the metal face.

Comments about Callaway® X Hot Pro Hybrids:

Senior golfer, slower swing speed but the ball stills jumps off the face of this club. I didn't expect that--unlike any other hybrid I've used. Launches medium-high for me with a nice muted "thwack" on contact. I use it on 160-180 approaches to greens--balls lands nicely. I also use it frequently on punch shots on hardpan or under trees--easy to control. Also have used it around greens for chipping occasionallly. Outstanding club--I use it constantly in my rounds. If you're looking for a 5-star hybrid, give this try.

Comments about Callaway® X Hot Pro Hybrids:

I found it was hard to control. It did have good distance but the club face is small and not very forgiving. Maybe a more advanced golfer would benefit more than I did.

We where looking for a hybrid that complete my daughters set and we stumble w this one as a demo 6.0 stiff std lie. She hit it inside on the simulator and got 225yds. Outside she got 212, average 205 w the roll.

        My Favorite Hybrid

        By Shrekoutdoors

Comments about Callaway® X Hot Pro Hybrids:

I was looking to upgrade my hybrid(Callaway Heavenwood), tried Ping G30, Titleist 915H, and Adams Tightlies(all fine clubs) but then I got ahold of the Xhot Pro 18*, after 10 minutes on the range I knew I was going home with this club. It felt really good to hit predictable shot consistently(220-240yds with a slight fade). Apparently the Royal Precision Project X 6.0 shaft fits my swing, very happy with my purchase,

        Nice trajectory, great distance.

        By Rob

        from Milwaukee, WI

Comments about Callaway® X Hot Pro Hybrids:

I bought two of these, one being a 16 degree stiff and the other being an 18 degree stiff. First shot I took the 18 degree 210 yards uphill with a LOT of roll. I didn't hit the 16 that well. I think about 180 maximum with rollout, probably 160 to contact. I consider myself average to below average golfer (24.8 hdcp) with swing speed hovering around 105. I certainly consider the lack of distance on the 16 to be on me, and not on the club. For whatever reason I just could not find the sweet spot. The 18 though flew straight and true for me, and I was able to finesse a slight fade out of it when desired. As I said, it regularly shot over 200, with the contact point at about 180-190. This was all uphill maybe a 10 degree slope. And it was off the ground, not off a tee. Your mileage may vary. I'm going to hang onto both of these for the time being, but only giving bag space to the 18. I just can't pass up that yardage. It's not necessarily a game changer, but it does provide great coverage in an area where I don't easily find extra yards.

I could not believe the quality. Awesome. I caved the face on my original hybrid, same model, and needed to replace. Because I liked it so much, I needed to get the same one. Luckily, being left-handed, they had its twin in stock. If I ever need to do the same again, I will be a returning customer. I have already put the word out to my golfing friends who play callaway. Word of mouth is always the best way to advertise.
