The PING G25s offer game-improvement technology - high trajectory, distance, and extreme forgiveness - in a sleeker head that inspires confidence. A custom-engineered face structure ensures a solid feel and distance with control. Progressive sole widths help optimize CG placement for accurate distance gapping. In appearance and performance, these 17-4 stainless steel designs will appeal to golfers of all abilities. The PING G25s have taken game improvement to the next level. With the varying sole widths in the longer irons having a wider sole to launch the ball higher and straighter and the shorter irons having a narrower sole for accuracy and workability. The Custom Tuning Port (CTP) is lower than the G20 and is intergrated into the sole for a lower center of gravity for a higher launch and overall more forgiving iron.
  • The CTP is integrated into the bottom of the sole, which moves mass down and aligns the support of the CTP directly with the impact area. This relieves stress from the face, saving weight that is used to locate the CG lower and increase MOI for extreme forgiveness.
  • In the longer irons, sole widths and offset are slightly larger to help launch the ball high with distance and forgiveness. In the short irons, soles are designed to ensure versatility and control.
  • Heel and toe support bars, along with low-toe weighting, stabilize the face at impact to deliver optimal ball velocity and distance with control.

Comments about Ping G25 Irons 5-PW Steel Shaft:

After owning the Ping G10's for about 7 years, I upgraded to the G25's. Needless to say I am a big Ping fan. While the G10's were excellent irons and wedges, the G25's are even better. In addition to having the typical G series characteristics of forgiveness and durability, they are a bit lighter, better to look at, have thinner sole and topline, and want to go straight even more so than the G10's. I can recommend these irons 100%.
