For eight weeks, teams of 2 players will compete every Wednesday night between October 1 - November 19. Teams will have one hour of practice before competition each night. The regular season runs weeks one through five, playoffs are weeks six through eight.

- Tee Times: Wednesday nights with time slots between 5 - 8PM
- Format: 2-Person Scramble, NET Stroke Play (Team Captain registers & pays entry fee)

- Qualifying Rounds: Bethpage Black (Weeks 1 & 2), Quail Hollow (Weeks 3 & 4), Royal Portrush (Week 5)
- Semi-Finals: Oakmont (Weeks 6 & 7)
- Finals: Pinehurst #2 (Week 8)
- Requirements: Must be a Players' Club member and have a Trackman handicap. Don't have a Trackman handicap? No problem! After registering your team, you will receive one FREE practice session in September to establish you and your playing partners' handicaps. Only takes one 9-hole stroke play round, no mulligans allowed.

Tournament Outline
I. Tournament Dates
a. Qualifying Rounds: Each Wednesday in October (10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29)
b. Semi-Final Round: November 5th and November 12th
c. Championship Round: November 19th
II. Format
a. Each round will be played in a 2-person scramble format. The same two players must compete in each round, no substitutions will be permitted.
b. A cut will be made after the Qualifying rounds and the Semi-Final Round.
c. Each team’s lowest score in the qualifying round will be dropped.
III. Trackman Settings
a. Holes: 9 or 18
b. Scoring Type: Stroke Net
c. Putting: Manuel – Aimed
d. Wind: Calm
e. Fairway Firmness: Medium
f. Green Firmness: Medium
g. Green Stimp: 10
h. Gimme Range: 4 Feet
IV. Scoring:
a. Tournament will be Net Stroke using Trackman’s handicap system.
i. All participants must have an established Trackman handicap to compete.
b. Order of Merit System will be in place for Qualifying Rounds
i. Points will be awarded based on teams finishing position nationwide.
o 1st place = 100 points
Regulations
I. Player Eligibility
a. All Players must be a PGA TOUR Superstore Players’ Club member. No payment is necessary to sign up for the Players’ Club.
b. All Players must be age 18 or older.
c. All Players must have a Trackman Account with an established Trackman handicap.
d. Injuries:
i. Any injuries and necessary markup rounds will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
II. Trackman Handicap
a. Players must have an established trackman handicap prior to competing in the Autumn Open
b. Trackman handicaps can be established by completing an individual stroke play, 9-hole round without using mulligans. See a PGA TOUR Superstore Associate for more information. The round must be played to completion for scores to be registered with Trackman.
III. PGATSS Host:
a. PGATSS will provide a host each week who is responsible for promoting pace of play. They also will assist with any rule violations and/or rule questions.
b. The Host will be present throughout the evening.
c. The host will have the final say for any Rules of Golf or PGATSS-rules violations.
IV. Rule of Elasticity:
a. The tournament host will maintain a floating “Rule of Elasticity” for any circumstance that is deemed a deviation from the norm. They reserve the right to make judgment calls based on their best ability in the given circumstances.
V. Invalid Reading / Unregistered Shot:
a. Scenarios may occur where shots have a misreading or unregistered shot. In these events, the PGATSS Competition Staff will have the final say on all rulings including, but are not limited to, the following:
i. Shot not captured – If a ball is struck and the Trackman technology fails to capture it, then the PGATSS Competition Staff will invoke a re-hit. The attempted shot is not counted towards the player’s total shots attempted.
ii. All other shots registered by the Trackman software will be considered valid and final.
VI. Competition Technology Issues:
a. If a piece of competition technology fails to operate as designed the match can be paused until the technology issue is resolved. If the issue cannot be resolved the match will continue with an alternative solution.
VII. Penalties:
a. PGATSS will govern by the rules set forth in this document, as well as the traditional Rules of Golf played on the PGA TOUR and the USGA. Rules have been set in place to meet the “spirt of the competition” and remain applicable under the conditions of the indoor environment. PGATSS reserves the right to:
i. Make changes to its holes, if by doing so will enhance the competition
ii. Add amendments and additions to rules, and such changes will be communicated to teams and players as they are made
b. Examples of potential penalties from the traditional Rules of Golf include, but are not limited to, the following:
i. One-shot penalty for hitting into penalty areas
ii. One-shot penalty for deliberately interfering with any moving ball (adaptation from the two-shot penalty in the traditional Rules of Golf
a. USGA subsections that will be enforced in Autumn Open include:
i. Rule 4.1.a
· In making a stroke, a player must use a club that conforms to the requirements in the Equipment Rules when:
o It is new, or
o Its playing characteristics have been changed in any way
· The playing characteristics of a club are any part, feature, or property that affects how the club performs or aids in alignment, including but not limited to, weighting, lie, loft, alignment features and permissible external attachments
a. Players that damage clubs mid match, as long as the clubs are not damaged in an act of aggression, will be entitled to replace them.
b. Players are limited to 14 clubs but are allowed to be shared if on the same team.
c. PGATSS will provide legal and conforming golf balls.
i. Any golf ball that is played and is not a PGATSS golf ball may result in a one stroke penalty.
VIII. Unsportsmanlike Conduct:
a. Players that are considered to be acting in a way that is unbecoming will be subjected to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. The player will first receive a warning from the referee. If they are given a second warning, then they will receive a one-shot penalty. If the act is considered “egregious” the host will have the ability to issue a one-shot penalty with no warning. If an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty occurs between holes, then the penalty will be added to the next hole the team plays.
b. If there are repeated unsportsmanlike conduct violations, The PGATSS host reserves the right to disqualify a team with or without warning.
c. If the team is disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct, the tournament entry fee will not be refunded.
Tournament Format:
I. Qualifying Rounds
a. Teams will be awarded points during the qualifying round, with points awarded based on the teams finishing position nationwide each week.
b. A Cut will be made (depending on final count of participating teams) after the qualifying round and after the Semi-Final Round.
II. Semi-Final & Championship Round
a. The qualifying teams will participate in a two-week cumulative semi-final round (November 5th and 12th)
b. Scores will reset to even par and the semi-final round will not be scored using a point-based system.
The championship round will be a one-night event. Scores will not carry over from the Semi-Final Round
